For Quebec and bilingual teams

A bilingual employee wellness challenge built for Quebec and Canadian workplaces

French is a first-class language in Movemint, not an afterthought translation. Run one company-wide step challenge where every employee competes in their own language, English or French, with their data stored in Canada. Built for Quebec, federal, and pan-Canadian teams that US-only tools leave behind.

The problem

If you run people and culture at a Quebec or bilingual Canadian company, most wellness-challenge tools put you in a bad spot. They are English-only, so half your workforce is second-class in their own wellbeing program. Their data lives on US servers, which is a real question under Quebec's Law 25 and a hard conversation with a privacy-conscious team. And they are priced in US dollars. You are left either translating everything by hand or picking a tool that quietly signals the French side of the company is an afterthought.

How Movemint solves it

Movemint is bilingual by design and Canadian by default.

The wedge: bilingual and built with Law 25 in mind

Fully bilingual EN / FR (app + site + privacy policy) Data stored in Canada (AWS ca-central-1, Montreal) Only steps, distance, and calories collected Admins see aggregates, not individual daily steps $1.50 USD/employee/month (CAD shown)

These are capability-and-fact statements, not customer claims. Movemint is a new product, so we do not show customer logos or testimonials we have not earned.

What it costs, and how to try it

Movemint is a flat $1.50 USD per employee per month, with a CAD equivalent shown at checkout, billed monthly with no annual contract. We set your first challenge up with you, so you can prove participation and the bilingual experience on a real challenge.

Frequently asked questions

Is Movemint fully bilingual?

Yes. The mobile app, the web experience, and the movemint.co site, including the French privacy policy and terms, are available in English and French, so every employee participates in their own language.

Is Movemint suitable for a Quebec workplace and Law 25?

Movemint is built for Canadian workplaces, stores Canadian employees' data in Canada (AWS ca-central-1, in Montreal), collects only step activity, and is designed with PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25 in mind. Our privacy policy is available in French. For a formal procurement, we will work through your specific privacy and security requirements.

Where is employee data stored?

In Canada. Our production database and its backups run in Amazon Web Services' Canadian region (ca-central-1, in Montreal). Employees' data does not leave the country to be stored.

What health data do you collect?

Only step count, distance, and calories during a challenge, plus a name and work email to place people on a leaderboard. We do not collect heart rate, sleep, GPS or location, weight, or any medical or diagnostic data.

Can our employer see an individual's daily steps?

Your admin dashboard shows aggregate totals, not a per-employee daily-step report. The challenge leaderboard shows names next to cumulative challenge totals, because that is the point of a team challenge, and every participant sees the same leaderboard.
